Description
Currently under former World Number One and Dutch Olympian Harrie Smolders, Urica vd Kattenvennen is one of showjumping’s brightest stars, and is turning heads at CSI5* competition. Beyond his impeccable bloodlines and clear talent, Uricas has been noted for his classic good looks and charisma as well as a kind and trainable temperament. While still a young horse himself, Uricas has already started to produce some impressive offspring who are starting to make their debuts arounf the world – with many carrying through his scope and bravery at the fence as well as a trainable nature. Many have been successful already in the Young Horse and Belgian Championships, with exciting new foals coming through each year. Uricas vd Kattevennen’s sire Uriko is the son of world class stallion Untouchable, and is currently still competing in international competition. His dam T Cassina is a Holsteiner mare from Cassini I x Carentino, and has produced many offspring who are competing globally. There are many famous 1.60m names from the damline including; Conway, Carassina, UT Wodka, Clearway, Conway-T, Arturo, Retina V and Classic Way. Bold, plenty of blood but level-headed, Uricas is the perfect mix of an elite show jumping stallion – proven at the highest level – but also a firm favourite to have around the stable at home.
Americana is an outstanding sporthorse with unbeateble pedigree. She competed up to 1.60 level with rider’s as Nano Healy (IRE), Jennifer Pedersen (DEN), Harm Lahde (GER). She has great jumping leg technique and elastic canter. Last but not least she looks gorgeous, a chestnut mare with huge white signs on her head, legs and has a white dot on her belly. Her father is Aganix du Seigneur (1.60. level) and her mother is Oak Grove’s Heartfelt (1.60 level), so both parents are competed up to the highest levels, just as herself. Over the years Aganix has made a number of appearances at high class shows and always proved to those watching how much he loves his job. In 2014 he was successful in the Stal Oosterbrook Prize with rider Jos Lansink, over the years he has jumped at CS13* Van den Boogaard Snelvervoer Prix, CSI4* Provincie Noord-Holland, and CSI2* Mariënheem. A large number of his offspring are competing at the highest level such as with Lillie Keenan who rides Agana van het Gerendal Z under the Californian sun. Closer to home and making a name for themselves are Oak Grove’s Americana (ex Annabelle Hero Z), Attoucha Hero Z and Andiamix Hero Z. All from Luc Henry´s breeding stud, the man who discovered Aganix when he was a youngster and who describes him as one of the best breeding sires the world has ever seen. The Aganix Z offspring combine their athletic model with an easy jumping style and radiate capacity which has already been rewarded with an outstanding number of his sons being approved! Oak Grove’s Heartfelt, the mother of Americana, was born in 2005 as ‘Verybelle du Seigneur’, is a Heartbreaker daughter out of Quasibelle du Seigneur, who in turn is a daughter of the renowned Ta Belle van Sombeke. Ta Belle is the mother of – amongst others – the double Olympic medal winner Glock’s London, Goldon Hawk and Dabelle. Ta Belle competed at 1.60m level herself under Jos Lansink. She jumped at the highest level herself and already brought six international sport horses who are competing up to 1.60m. She is the sister of numerous sport horses and her granddam, Ta Belle van Sombeke, is one of the most influential foundation mares in the world.
