Description

The father of the implanted embryo is Catoki. He is a special stallion who has been successful in both sport and breeding. He is a compact, powerful, jumper – very sharp in front and with a well-connected, naturally topline. Performance – Catoki has porven his outstanding talent again and again, with wins and placings numerous times at top level. Catoki’s father Cambridge also won many advanced level competitions before his untimely death. Cambridge was a son of the Cor de la Bryère son Caletto I, who sired any grand prix showjumpers including the licensed stallions Cabachon, Non Stop and Cornetto (by Ramiro Z). On the dam’s side you find the Silbersee son Silvester, who became immortal through his offspring, among which is the international dressage ace Silvano. His dam’s family is used to success and has produced mares that have become the dams of stallions in every single generation. Catoki has numerous successful, talented offspring like Catch Me If You Can (1.70 m), Campbell (1.65 m), Cador (1.60 m) etc. Furthermore, he even has one offspring that competes in 5* eventing and one son, Chateau 28, who even competes in dressage at Grand Prix level.

 

The mother is full sister of two famous showjumpers, Child of two famous excellent horses, exceptional possibilities in her foals! The father is Echo van’t Spieveld (1.60m) liver chestnut stallion. He competed with Victoria Colvin (USA) and previously with Belgian riders. He has excellent results in breeding too, and has lot of competing foals in high levels. The dam of Echo van’t Spieveld also produced the 1.60m jumping horses; Amber van Spieveld (Nabab de Reve), Casper van Spieveld (Mr. Blue), Gentille van Spieveld (Heartbreaker) and the 1.50m jumping horse Izeaux van Spieveld (Deauville van T&L), Jivaro Imperio Egipcio (out of Geena van ‘t Roosakker by Darco, breeder: Rony Thys) under the saddle of Francisco José Mesquita.

And this is where you can see that Lageena Hero’s mother line in one of a kind. Her mother is the famous Geena van’t Roosakker. Geena is a direct daughter of the Grand Prix winning Babbe van’ Roosakker who is sister to the Grand Prix winning Cella and a daughter of the unparalleled Usha van’t Roosakker. Geena is a sister to the stallion Erco van’t Roosakker of Giorgio van’t Hagenhof. Another brother of Geena is the competitive Dulhan de la Rouqe.

Geena herself was a successful sport horse under Janika Sprunger and Hans-Dieter Dreher coming 2nd in the Ascona Frand Prix. Geena coming from a proven family and having produced Grand Prix horses. She is the dam of Jivaro Imperio Egipcio and of Kheros van het Hoogeinde. Both horses compete in 1.55m and 1.60m classes in 5* level. Geena is also the dam of Mystic van’t Hoogeinde, crowned World Champion in Zangersheide as a 6 year old!
