Calandra is a premium Holsteiner mare who competed up to international Grand Prix level and descends from the legendary Olympic dam line of Fein Cera, bred by the renowned Harm Tormählen. She jumped internationally, produces exceptional offspring at E. Sporthorses Stud, including the international competitor Quick Cera.
Calandra’s third dam is the world-famous Kleine Cera, daughter of Fein Cera, who herself was an Olympic medalist. Kleine Cera produced several top performers, such as Ornellaia (1.65m, ridden by John Whitaker and Peter Moloney), Zera (Hamburg Derby winner, 1.60m), and Capriccio 53 (1.50m). This elite damline has also given rise to numerous international jumpers, including Castlefield Dream, Echo of Light, Special Cera du Maillet Z, and Chardonnay 111, all competing at 1.50–1.60m level.
