H-C.S.R. Balou et Rouge

Balou et Rouge is the dam of this embryo, sired by the legendary Baloubet du Rouet. Baloubet, ridden by Rodrigo Pessoa, achieved an exceptional record with 14 wins and 13 placings at the 1.60m level. A classic French type, he was known for his athleticism, speed, respectfulness, power, and flexibility—and impressively continued competing at the highest level until the age of 18. Among Baloubet’s top-performing offspring are Chaman (1.60m), G&C Arrayan (1.70m), and Bubalu VDL (1.60m).

Balou et Rouge has already produced high-level sport horses, including N-Balourouge de Semilly, by Kalaska de Semilly, who is currently competing at the 1.50m level with rider Cecilie Tofte.

The damsire, Papillon Rouge, was ranked 3rd on the FEI/WBFSH World Rankings in 2007, with 29 international representatives—six of whom earned over 200 points.: Mozart des Hayettes (Nimmerdor), Fleche Rouge (Kissovo), Iasco Mouche (Matador du Bois), Tresor (Laudanum), Icare du Manet (Kouglof II) and Issis du Marais (Uriel).
