Solara is best known as the dam of the exceptional Chacco Kid, who competed at the 1.65m level with Olympic champion Eric Lamaze. Her dam, Sonida, is a beautiful broodmare by the legendary Quick Star, a top-level showjumper and one of the most influential sires in modern sport horse breeding. Quick Star produced numerous international stars such as Quicksilver, Quatas des Etisses, Big Star, and Quebec 19, all successful at the 1.60m level. Sonida herself produced several successful jumpers, including Charmeur 332 (1.40m) and L V Celebracion (1.60m).

Solara’s sire, Come On, a striking grey stallion by Cantus out of Landgraf I, also boasts a strong legacy through top offspring like Capuera II, Come Soon, and Oliver Twist Bay, all competing at 1.60m. With such a powerful pedigree and a proven production record, Solara stands out as a top-quality broodmare—and Chacco Kid is a clear testament to her breeding excellence.
